I recently attended one of Charlottes 6 day watercolour workshops from her home in Otaru, Hokkaido Japan. Charlotte and Dean were very welcoming and took us to many interesting locations to paint. Charlotte proved very helpful with some of the trickier details, not just painting techniques but also with the local food and culture.
I would highly recommend one of these weekly workshops if watercolour painting, eating out, sight seeing and sampling another countries culture is your thing!
We spent a wonderful week with Charlotte and Dean in May. I’m not a confident artist but being with Charlotte in Japan really helped me relax into a clearer understanding of my own style. We went to lovely places to paint and my husband (non painter) got some great photos to bring home and work on. We went to some amazing restaurants and had a real range of food experience. Charlotte and Deans home is really comfortable and it was fabulous to go to Hokkaido. We were well cared for and had a very special time. Thank you Charlotte and Dean
